Ms. Tara has been a master arts integration teaching artist for 15+ years, combining academic learning with fine arts. She has taught Pre K – College, assorted adults including seniors and those with learning challenges. Ms. Tara believes that all people, no matter their experience, age, capability or disability, have a story to tell and she delights in helping each student’s creative “voice” not only to be heard but celebrated!

She teaches with joy, empathy, knowledge, patience and critical thinking. Ms. Tara is versed in a variety of media: all forms of painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache) and drawing (graphite, colored pencils, Conte’ crayons, charcoal, oil & chalk pastels, pen & ink). She teaches printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, ceramics, glass, wood, found & recycled objects and a variety of other mediums. She has taught across America and overseas. She is well known in the art world as teacher, facilitator, curator and exhibiting artist.
