Maria C.

Flute, Harp, Piano
Ms. Maria’s love for music began in the third grade when she first played “Happy Birthday” on her friend’s plastic keyboard. That joyful moment sparked a lifelong passion for music, one that has continued to grow and flourish. Over the years, she has honed her skills as a dedicated educator, teaching harp, piano, and violin to students of all ages, from elementary to college level.

In addition to her teaching, Ms. Maria has generously volunteered her time as an instructor in a music therapy studio, where she worked closely with autistic students. This experience deepened her belief in the universal power of music and strengthened her commitment to making it accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.

Ms. Maria is deeply passionate about encouraging her students to explore their unique musical interests, inspired by the enthusiasm and support she herself received from her teachers while growing as an artist. Her teaching approach is rooted in fostering creativity, individuality, and a genuine love for music.

Currently, Ms. Maria is advancing her artistry by pursuing graduate studies in harp performance at the University of North Texas. Her focus includes mastering soloistic repertoire and ensemble arranging, further enriching her expertise and broadening her ability to inspire her students.
