Learning for Adults!

New Song School of the Arts believes in adult fine arts education. Our instructors work with adult students to reignite or find a passion for the arts. We can provide learners with an individualized approach with flexible options for lessons.

Adult fine arts education offers a vibrant avenue for personal growth beyond traditional schooling. Whether it’s rediscovering a childhood passion for painting, exploring the intricacies of pottery, or learning a new musical instrument, these programs cater to a wide range of interests and skill levels. They provide a supportive environment for adults to tap into their creativity, develop new skills, and find a sense of community with like-minded individuals. The benefits extend far beyond the artistic product itself, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and overall well-being.

Photography Workshop

Take our 4-week photography workshop.  This is perfect for aficionados looking to start or perfect their photography skills. Gain tools such as camera setting recommendations, lighting manipulation, editing the image, and more this summer. Perfect for beginners or those with experience.

Our adult fine arts education is embracing the digital age with the integration of digital cameras. This allows students to explore artistic concepts in new ways. Photography classes delve into composition, lighting, and capturing fleeting moments, all through the lens of a digital camera. Beyond traditional photography, students can use digital images for photo manipulation, creating mixed-media pieces that combine traditional art forms with the power of digital tools. This broadens the definition of “art” and empowers students to experiment with a range of creative techniques.
