Rebecca NS.

Piano, Voice

Ms. Rebecca has a long history of teaching and performing, and has found herself to be an adamant advocate of healthy singing, knowing that a well-trained voice can sing in any style. In the past 22 years of professional music education, Ms. Rebecca has worked in all genres from elementary school through university teaching, including: choir, music theory (AP), voice, piano, musical theatre (director and voice teacher), and beginning guitar and ukulele. Her experience in choral education, musical theatre, and the classical and opera stage, have given her a drive to promote a healthy and free approach to singing. She has found that when her students approach practice with joy, curiosity, and a fair amount of grace, they can find comfort in making mistakes and trying new approaches that develop them into confident and competent musicians.
