Ms. Wendy has been involved with music and theatre the majority of her life. Participating in her mother’s theatre classes and acting in many productions during her youth, Ms Wendy eventually owned an after school theatre program called KidStage where she contracted with various school districts in the north Dallas area. Hundreds of children benefited from that program during those 8 years.

Beginning piano lessons at the age of 5, Ms. Wendy has had many opportunities to utilize her skills including accompanying choirs and small groups, instrumental and vocal students, and teaching lessons. She loves seeing the joy and confidence that piano playing brings to her students.

One of her greatest pastimes is singing in a professional choir called Millennial Choirs and Orchestras. She has had opportunities to perform in different areas of the country including most recently Washington DC for the Academy of Achievement awards gala. Ms. Wendy is married to her husband John and has 4 children- 3 daughters (Kaylee, Sydney and Molly) and 1 son (Alex), two sons in law (Parker and Nick) and 1 grandson named Jesse.

Education and Accomplishments:

• BA in education from Utah State University
• Owner/instructor of KidStage after school theatre program for 8 years
• Past solo piano competition judge for Plano Music Teachers Association.
