Tristan is a dedicated percussionist and music education major at the University of North Texas, where he is training under some of the most respected percussion educators in the country. His studies have given him a strong foundation in a wide range of percussion styles, and he brings that depth of knowledge directly into his teaching.

Primarily a drumset player, Tristan also has extensive experience in classical percussion and marching percussion. This versatility allows him to support students with many different musical interests—whether they’re exploring drumset for the first time, preparing for school band, or working toward more advanced percussion goals.

Warm, encouraging, and student‑centered, Tristan believes that music should be fun first, especially for young learners. He works hard to create lessons that feel engaging and confidence‑building, knowing that when students enjoy what they’re doing, progress comes naturally.

Above all, Tristan is committed to helping each student to discover the joy of percussion, build strong musical habits, and feel proud of the progress they make.
