Ms. Shera is a devoted music educator with a passion for sharing the joy of music with students of all ages and skill levels. A talented multi-instrumentalist, she brings experience in teaching piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, brass instruments, and early childhood music.

While Shera is qualified to teach students of all ages and levels, her early childhood music training equips her with the tools to create engaging, play-based experiences that spark a love for music in even the youngest learners. She is passionate about helping children build a strong musical foundation through joyful and developmentally appropriate instruction.

Her teaching philosophy centers around the belief that music should be an enjoyable, meaningful, and personal outlet for every student. Whether working one-on-one or in group settings, Ms. Shera creates an environment where learning is fun, customizable, and appropriately challenging. She is committed to helping each student discover their unique musical voice, build confidence, and grow both musically and personally.

Ms. Shera draws from her rich musical background at the University of North Texas, where she performed with the renowned 9 O’Clock Lab Band and The Green Brigade marching band. Her wide-ranging experience and genuine enthusiasm for teaching make her an inspiring and impactful presence in every lesson.

Ms. Shera is a valued member of the New Song community, and she looks forward to helping her students thrive through the power of music.
