New Song School Of The Arts

Rachael L.

Cello, Violin, Viola
Ms. Rachael has been playing cello for nearly 2 decades and loves helping students discover their own musical voice. She specializes in working with beginners and intermediate players of all ages, creating a supportive, flexible learning environment where students can grow at their own pace. As someone who is neurodivergent and hypermobile, Ms. Rachael understands the importance of adapting lessons to each student’s needs. With a focus on injury prevention and healthy technique, her teaching is built from her pre-college studies with Ms. Karen Ray from New Orleans and her collegiate studies with Mr. Nikola Nino Ružević. Additionally, she brings a wealth of performance experience—from international competitions to performing with multiple orchestras to three appearances at Carnegie Hall. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build confidence and skill, Ms. Rachael is excited to help you on your musical journey!
