Mr. Paul has over fifty years of successful teaching experience ages pre-K through college, ensemble facilitating, and private lessons. He has studied, researched, and taught the models and methods of children’s cognition with an emphasis on how young students learn music. Many of his former students themselves have become educators and/or professional musicians. Mr. Paul has performed, taught, and composed drum music since the age of ten and has had a distinguished career as a professional musician and educator.

Education and Accomplishments:

• B.A. and M.A. in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College, Pasadena, CA
• Private study with Murray Spivack (RKO Studios) and Walter Goodwin (L.A. Philharmonic)
• Has performed on hundreds of recordings in over thirty countries
• Former Grammy Member and a member of the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers
