Ms. Melissa LOVES teaching music to all ages. She has been able to adopt her teaching style to students of all levels and ages. With students ranging from the tiniest budding musicians to seasoned players in their eighties, Ms. Melissa believes music is a gift for every generation.
Since she was a young girl, Ms. Melissa has immersed herself in the world of music, excelling in national competitions, marching band, drum corps, flute choir, and woodwind ensembles. A standout moment in her musical journey was being selected to perform with the prestigious National Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall—a testament to her dedication and talent.
Today, Ms. Melissa continues to share her artistry by teaching her students to play with quality musicianship. She practices what she “preaches” through her career of playing flute and piccolo with the Coppell Community Orchestra and stepping in as a substitute for various local ensembles.
For Ms. Melissa, teaching is more than instruction—it’s about witnessing the spark of understanding in her students, guiding them as they take the stage with confidence, and celebrating their milestones as they reach goals they once only dreamed of. She finds endless joy in nurturing musicians of all ages and fostering a lifelong love for music.
