Viola, Violin

Mr. Kevork has enjoyed teaching private violin lessons to students of various ages and skill levels for the last 7 years. His teaching approach is versatile and combines principles from different violin-playing traditions, to best fit the needs of his students. Most importantly, Mr. Kevork strives to show his students the beauty of violin music and cultivate passion for the instrument. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of North Texas under Prof. Julia Bushkova, where he also serves as a teaching fellow and primary instructor of a full class of violin students.

Apart from teaching, Mr. Kevork is an active performer, playing in several orchestras in the DFW area. In his native Bulgaria, Kevork has played as a soloist for several symphony and chamber orchestras and has been a prizewinner of Solo and Chamber music competitions.
