Ms. Jeanette discovered her love of music at just six years old when she joined an early-childhood strings program in Austin, Texas. What began as childhood curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for performance, creativity, and teaching.
With over nine years of violin performance experience spanning orchestral, chamber, and Latin ensemble settings, Jeanette brings both technical excellence and artistic versatility to her students. Her six years playing in Latin ensembles gave her a strong foundation in improvisation, modern styles, and cross-genre collaboration. As a solo violinist and co-leader of a performing string quartet, she has performed at gala events and live engagements, coordinating rehearsals and curating repertoire to create polished musical experiences for audiences.
In addition to violin, Jeanette is skilled in piano, guitar, mandolin, and vocals — giving her a well-rounded approach to musicianship and music education. She is passionate about helping students connect musical concepts across instruments while building confidence, creativity, and strong foundational technique.
Jeanette’s teaching style is encouraging, process-driven, and student-centered. She believes lessons should do more than teach notes and rhythms — they should help children become confident, creative problem-solvers who develop independence and resilience both in music and in life.
