With over a decade of experience teaching and performing guitar across the country, Mr. Jacob brings a deep passion for music and a gift for inspiring creativity in students of all ages and skill levels. His teaching philosophy centers on nurturing joy, curiosity, and confidence—whether guiding a beginner through their first chords or helping an advanced student refine their technique.

Mr. Jacob tailors his instruction to meet each student’s unique goals, fostering musical growth through ear training, music reading, theory, and guitar technique. He is known for his ability to spark “light bulb moments,” and for building lasting relationships with students and their families. His ultimate aim is to help students carry music with them throughout their lives—as a source of expression, connection, and personal nourishment.

As a seasoned performer, Mr. Jacob has recorded original projects and played in a wide range of ensembles and venues, showcasing his versatility and love for collaboration.

• B.M. in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in guitar performance from Cal State University, Fullerton
