With over 25 years of experience teaching voice and piano, Ms. Heather brings a passionate and personalized approach to music education. Her own musical journey began with singing and playing piano by ear as a young child. At age 13, she was invited to study with Professors George Kent and Donald Rankin at the University of Rhode Island. Ms. Heather performed as a vocalist with the Westerly Chorus for eight years, including concerts with the Boston Pops Symphony Orchestra.

While Ms. Heather loves helping students of all ages discover their love for music, she specializes in helping those students who have lost interest in traditional lessons to rediscover their spark for music.

Her adaptive teaching style allows her to customize her lessons to the unique needs of beginner through advanced students.

Her goal is to make music joyful, accessible, and deeply rewarding.
