Heather K.

Piano, Voice, Early Childhood Music
Heather, “Dr. K.” is a dedicated music educator specializing in early childhood piano, voice, and parent-child music classes. With extensive teaching experience from early childhood to university graduate level, she creates joyful, engaging environments where young learners actively sing, move, play, and explore music. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every child is inherently musical; she helps students discover and develop that innate musicality through developmentally appropriate, play-based instruction.

Drawing on approaches such as Orff Schulwerk, Dr. K. integrates singing, movement, improvisation, and familiar musical styles to build foundational skills while nurturing creativity and confidence. She is committed to meeting children where they are, providing individualized guidance and consistent encouragement to support their growth.

Dr. K. teaches because she finds deep joy in helping children reach their musical potential and fostering a lifelong love of music.
