Mr. Cody is a DFW-based trumpet player and music educator with over a decade of public performance experience. He has professionally performed as both a jazz and classical trumpet player, enabling him to provide instruction in both classical and modern styles such as pop, jazz, and musical theatre. Mr. Cody is a member of the brass staff in the Northwest ISD. He teaches private lessons to middle and high school students, helping them to prepare for competitions, solo and ensemble, and to learn concert and solo repertoire. Mr. Cody’s teaching experience equips him to educate and tailor lessons to students across all ages and abilities. His education in jazz studies informs his teaching style that provides a unique learning experience for both jazz and classical brass students.
