Brenno L.

Piano

Brenno brings over 15 years of teaching experience and a genuine passion for helping young musicians grow, not just as piano players, but as confident, expressive musicians for life. His goal goes beyond teaching students how to play notes correctly. He works to develop well-rounded musicians who understand their craft, enjoy making music, and feel supported in sharing it at their own pace.

Born in Brazil, Brenno began studying piano at the age of six at a conservatory in his hometown. His early training provided a strong technical foundation, which he later expanded through advanced university studies and professional performance experience. He has studied with respected pianists from Brazil, Europe, and the United States, shaping a flexible and thoughtful approach to teaching.

In his lessons, Brenno emphasizes strong fundamentals, healthy technique, and musical expression while encouraging curiosity and creativity. He adapts his teaching to each student’s age, personality, and learning style, helping beginners build confidence and guiding more advanced students toward higher-level musicianship.

While Brenno understands that performance can feel intimidating for some students, he gently encourages opportunities to share music when students are ready. He helps students develop confidence, stage presence, and communication through music in a supportive and low-pressure way, allowing each student to grow at a pace that feels comfortable.

In addition to private teaching, Brenno has extensive experience as a collaborative pianist and university-level educator and has received recognition in national piano competitions. He is currently nearing completion of his Doctor of Musical Arts degree, reflecting his ongoing commitment to excellence in teaching and musicianship.

Parents appreciate Brenno’s calm, encouraging presence, clear structure, and dedication to helping students develop a lifelong relationship with music.
