Mr. Asher, a multi-instrumentalist with a lifelong love of music, began his journey at the age of four on the violin and has since explored a wide range of instruments and musical styles. He brings a versatile and student-centered approach to teaching, drawing from his experience in private instruction across numerous instruments. Mr. Asher has performed in a variety of ensembles, including orchestras, concert bands, percussion ensembles, jazz bands (on both piano and drums), world music groups, and high school and collegiate marching bands—each adding depth to his musical perspective.

Mr. Asher is passionate about making music fun and accessible. His goal is to spark joy and creativity in every student, helping them grow not only as musicians but as confident, curious learners.
