Annie B.

Viola, Violin

Ms. Annie was inspired to begin playing violin at age 4 after watching her own mother’s violin students take lessons in the family living room. In 2014, Ms. Annie founded West Denver Suzuki Strings, a string-focused music program in her hometown of Denver, Colorado. Through WDSS, she discovered a passion for teaching and it is her lifelong goal to inspire confidence and freedom in her students through her own violin playing and teaching. During her 10+ years of teaching Ms. Annie has worked with students of all ages, from beginners to college music majors. Ms. Annie is trained in the Suzuki Method and has a wide knowledge of string repertoire to keep students challenged and excited as they learn their chosen instrument. Currently, she is a section player in a regional orchestra and performs as a member of the Fantasmi Ensemble on Baroque violin in the US and Europe.
