Mr. Alex learned how to play piano by ear when he was just 3 years old and has been accidentally figuring out songs ever since. Meanwhile, he took several years of formal lessons as a child and has been professionally playing and teaching piano, composing songs, recording and publishing music, touring, and leading worship for the past 10 years. He is especially well-equipped to help students who play by ear and those who have a knack for writing music. He is also a compassionate teacher to those with mental neuro-divergences.

Mr. Alex loves getting to know people of all age and skill levels, while striving to instill a genuine understanding and love of music. Music is a pleasure to be enjoyed, not a chore to be completed.
