Ms. Xiaowen has been tutoring beginner piano students since she was 13. Through years of study, she has many successful teaching experiences for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. She earned the Teaching Assistant position at Cal Poly Humboldt where she taught college group piano classes and private lessons. She aims to develop students’ ability to play piano musically with a different approach for each student based on their talent. Xiaowen frequently performed with Humboldt Symphony and played many recitals at Morris Graves Museum of Art in Eureka. She is currently a first-year master’s student at the University of North Texas under Dr. Pamela Mia Paul.
