Violin

Mrs. Vianey is a violinist from Houston, Tx. She has more than five years of successful teaching experience spanning private violin lessons and public-school music classrooms while directing mariachi, violin, and choir ensembles.

She began playing the violin at six years old. Her favorite music memories include hosting violin recitals for her extended family, getting accepted into two remarkable music schools, and performing with her friends and teachers. As a result, she is motivated to teach so that her students will have similar memories.

Mrs. Vianey worked alongside the Houston Symphony's Community Engagement program to establish a violin instruction program and with MECA to establish a mariachi program as an essential element of the area's feeder pattern and in the local community.

She is also fortunate to connect and musically collaborate with Spanish-speaking students.

Education & Accomplishments:

  • B.A. in Music from University of North Texas (2015-2017)
  • M.A. in Ethnomusicology, University of North Texas (2022-present)
