Mr. Mich is a drum set/percussion performer and educator. Mr. Mich’s musical career began in high school receiving the accolades of making the Colorado large school All-State Jazz Band in 2011, winning the soloist award for the Skyline Jazz Festival in 2011, and membership in the Denver Young Artist Orchestra and district-wide All Stars Jazz Band.

As an educator, Mich LOVES sharing his passion for music with students of all levels and ages. With years of experience, Mich’s teaching style is fun, adaptive, and age-appropriate. He takes pride in being able to meet the student wherever they’re at on their musical journey. Whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced, Mr. Mich is able to tailor his instruction in a way that provides clear objectives and concise practice expectations. He knows how to give students a reason to want to come back each week, ready to learn more.

Mich is eager to pass on the knowledge he has learned from nearly a lifetime of playing drums and the continued university-level education in which he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Mich is also a professional drummer who regularly performs across the Metroplex and beyond. As a performer, Mich has played with numerous artists and ensembles including No Limits Variety Band, Forte Entertainment Group, The Legacy Jazz Band, Parker Twomey, Salvation From Sundown, The Reece Malone Band, Selena Forever Tribute, Corey Breedlove, and many more. Notably, Mich has played with Nick Fabian for the NFL SuperBowl Volunteer Pep rally in 2017, Good Morning Texas TV spots with Nick Fabian in 2017 and Salvation from Sundown in 2019, Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival with Salvation from Sundown, and has backed numerous artists including Skip Martin from Kool and the Gang, The Bergamot, and Jamie Jamgochian.

Mich is currently the full-time drummer for Selena Forever Tribute and plays part-time with other country, jazz, and tribute band projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Mich has also had a prolific early studio career having recorded over 40 albums and EPs ranging from Christian Alternative, Progressive Rock, Pop, Singer-Songwriter, Folk, Gospel, Jazz, Jazz Fusion, and other styles since 2016.
