Ms. Mia is a passionate advocate for the arts and has dedicated her career to harnessing the transformative power of the arts, particularly musical theatre, to connect with and inspire students. Her journey into teaching began in therapeutic arts, where she worked with students with disabilities, helping them learn and find joy in musical theatre. This laid the foundation for her lifelong mission to use the arts as a means of empowerment and expression.

Her love for performing arts blossomed at a young age within the church, where she eagerly participated with the worship and drama teams. This early exposure ignited a fervent passion for theatre and music that would shape her future. Throughout high school, Ms. Mia was actively involved in theatre, choir, and band, showcasing her versatile talents and earning her an honorable mention at the One Act Play competition.

Driven by a desire to help others discover their creative potential, Ms. Mia frequently teaches theatre camps and mentors her peers. She delights in guiding others on their artistic journeys to foster a sense of confidence and self-expression. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where each student can thrive and express themselves through the arts.
