Ms. LaShandra has devoted the past decade to sharing her passion for music as an elementary music teacher. Her extensive experience within the public school system has honed her ability to adapt her teaching style to resonate with diverse personalities, skill levels, and learning needs. A well-rounded educator, Ms. LaShandra is trained in multiple teaching methodologies, which, combined with her experience working with students with learning disabilities, allows her to create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment.

Her journey in music began at the age of three, singing in church, and soon expanded to the piano, where her love for instrumental music blossomed at just five years old. After earning her B.A. in Music Education from the University of North Texas, Ms. LaShandra embarked on her teaching career in Dallas ISD, where she quickly became known for her positive, engaging teaching style.

In every music lesson, Ms. LaShandra brings a vibrant enthusiasm and an unwavering belief that learning should not only be enriching but also a joyful experience. She is committed to helping each of her students find their own musical voice, fostering a love for music that will last a lifetime.
