Ms. Jodi has been a public school choir director for 17 years and is now the owner of her own choral consulting business, The Choir Queen LLC. After spending many years, primarily at the middle school level, in her own classroom, Jodi has become passionate about working in classrooms across Texas and the United States. Her desire is to help choir teachers create the program of their dreams and avoid burnout. She currently mentors over 15 choir directors monthly in their classrooms and is a featured honor choir clinician across the country for all levels of students. Jodi is also a passionate choral singer and has sung professionally with Orpheus Chamber Singers, Dallas Bach Society, Vox Humana, Conspirare, and as a soloist at many churches and universities.

• B.M. in Choral Music Education from the University of North Texas
• M.M. in Choral Conducting from Southern Methodist University
• Lloyd Pfautsch Choral Excellence Award from Southern Methodist University
• Soloist on the Grammy-Nominated “Threshold of Night” album with Conspirare
