An Indonesian violinist, Ms. Clarissa was recorded as the “world fastest violinist” at the age of 14. This achievement brings Ms. Clarissa to perform across Indonesia as well as internationally. She has performed in the United States, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia as well as Indonesia. With the combination of her classical and popular genre background, Ms. Clarissa has collaborated with many musicians around the world in various age groups, including famous musicians.
In 2014, along with her dad, Ferdinand Marsa, as a composer, arranger, and her manager, Ms. Clarissa opens her heart to be a part of a non-profit organization called ChildAid Asia. This organization had brought her to collaborate with talented children around the world, make music from their heart and raise money for the unfortunate children all around Asia. As a natural performer, Clarissa’s passion in her violin playing brings joy and happiness to the audience’s heart.
Besides performing, Ms. Clarissa has been passionate and started to teach violin as well as piano since she was 14 years old. She is educated in multiple different methods and approaches to teaching. This allows her to deliver the needs of every student’s learning style, age, and skill level. She believes that “there is no method that is perfect for all students”.
