Mr. Brian has been teaching private lessons for six years. He is currently teaching undergraduate courses at the University of North Texas. He is educated in multiple methods and approaches to teaching, which have allowed him to cater to every student’s learning style, age, and skill level. He is also experienced in teaching students with learning disabilities. His students continue to give outstanding performances and receive the highest marks in Music Theory Exams, performances, and university-audition acceptances. He has performed publicly since age six as a drummer/percussionist and as a pianist in Jazz big bands and ensembles, orchestras, choirs, accompanists, and as a soloist. He also has many years of experience as a composer and a studio musician, recording in genres such as Jazz, Avant-Garde, Country, Americana, and CCM.

• B.A. in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Texas at Tyler
• Masters in Music Theory from the University of Texas at Arlington
• Doctorate in Music Theory/Ethnomusicology (in the process) from the University of North Texas
